So, I subscribed to the Pathfinder Chronicles line last week (Wednesday? Thursday?) and elected to begin my subscription with the Map Folio (set to release in February) rather than the item cards. However, I have a charge in my account for 14.06, which is what I believe it costs to ship the item cards with my shipping selection. Is this just a "check to see if Russell's bank account has money in it" effect or is Paizo planning on shipping me the item cards? Thanks for your hard work, buddy, and happy holidays. :)

Yep—it's an authorization, not a charge. We're basically making sure the card is charagable, but we won't actually charge it until the product ships. For a more detailed explanation, see "Why is there a hold on my credit card" in the FAQ.
