I had a few ideas I wanted some input on. If the pc receive the fort from hook mountain as a reward, how damaging to the campaign world will it be to move the fort closer to Sandpoint? The playersare tied to Sandpoint pretty well and I would hate to disrupt the ties they have built with the excellent reward of a fort in a far away place. In future pathfinder epis will the location of the fort be critical? Would moving it be world shattering? Another idea I had, instead of moving the fort, Sandpoint could be destroyed and the people are forced to rebuild near the fort instead. My main concern is tooling the world around and destroying future plot...and of course ease of use. Thanks for any ideas or help

By the time they finish Hook Mountain Massacre, the PCs should be able to cast teleport, unless you have no wizard or sorceror or cleric with the Travel domain. At that point, Sandpoint isn't really very far away at all.
Even without teleport, it's conceivable to hire a Magnimarian wizard to cast a permanent teleportation circle between Sandpoint and Fort Rannick, although expensive.
And really, the distance isn't that far. A week's travel, if they don't dally too much and take the straight route.
EDIT: That said, I don't think there'll be anything relating to Fort Rannick in the remainder of the path, so not a big deal if you move it other than the fact that it has significant geographically relevant details nearby (such as the dam).
