They haven't. I'm trying to contact several people, and none of them have -- rightly so, since that can be spam bait, and I don't know that I'd want my email publicly available in my profile. Virtually every other forum software I used allowed you to either send and receive private messages on the board itself, or use a form to send an email without revealing the address.
As it stands now, in order to contact someone I need to publicly post my email address and beg for people to contact me, beg for other people to post their contact information, or search the internet and hope I can find the right "Joe Blow" from all the false hits. The latter approach seems a little creepy to me, but it's probably what I'll end up doing.

A facility for allowing direct contact is on our to-do list, but it's admittedly not very high on the list right now.
