Hey- I was going to post this here too (great minds and all that). Sure he was a jerk at the time, so was Simmons, Lawless, and Roth...everyone of them just wanted YOU to pay attention to them. It seems though that DuBrow was mellowing and apologized for some of his drunken statements from those years.
For me, it was a lot like Dragnmoon. Metal Health and Condition Critical played a lot around our group. QR was one of the 'gateway bands' that got your attention! It seems for a while you couldnt get away from that metal mask with the crazy eye. I know I drew that image on 50 different spiral notebooks. They were a fun band with silly lyrics and RAWK videos (for the time)...even though he overpronounced 'party' in 'Party All Night' to a ridiculous degree. That made me laugh even then. I'll miss 'im.
