Hey all -
Just got the following e-mail:
Dear DeadDM,
We've recently modified the options for shipping multiple subscriptions at paizo.com.
This month, the latest GameMastery Module, E1: Carnival of Tears will be shipping before the latest volume of Pathfinder, and this means that those of you who have chosen to hold Pathfinder to ship with GameMastery Modules will be receiving a shipment with *just* the Module; your next Pathfinder will be held to ship with the next Module, J2: Guardians of Dragonfall, sometime in December. We realize that that may not be what you intended when you made your choice, so we've introduced a new option: Hold subscription items for monthly shipment.
Selecting this new option will ensure that each month you'll be sent exactly one subscription shipment, regardless of the order in which products arrive at our warehouse. For example, because the GameMastery Module will be arriving before Pathfinder this month, if you select the monthly shipment, we'll hold the Module until the Pathfinder arrives, and ship them both together.
If you'd like to select this new option, please visit http://paizo.com/paizo/account/subscriptions and make your choice. Carnival of Tears is shipping this week, so don't delay!
In the coming weeks, we'll be revising our subscriptions page to give you more visibility and more direct control over your subscription shipments, and we'll also be introducing new subscriptions for the Pathfinder Chronicles supplements and the Planet Stories fiction line.
As always, if you have any questions, please let us know.
Thanks!

In order to make an informed decision, I'm trying to figure out when things are SUPPOSED to ship. The current schedule shows 2 Pathfinders shipping in December. Is that still the case, or is #5 going to be bumped a month as well? If I choose the 'ship one per month' will that mean I won't get Pathfinder #4 until Pathfinder #5 ships as well?
I really don't have a problem with giving you guys more money. I just hate to see it wasted on the postal service. They're not really making the game I like - thus no reward for them. I guess I like the one shipment a month idea. Any chance that we'll get the option to add our 'non subscription' orders to that one package. That's really what I'm looking for.

I'm a little the same in that shipping to NZ can get expensive once whatever threshold you guys have is reached for a parcel. If I can get the postage limited to $6.95 (or whatever that cheapest rate is) per package I'd be grateful.
With your sale items I ended up buying two hardcover books on separate orders to avoid going into the higher postage rate...
Cheers

We're expecting Pathfinder 4 to start shipping around the 5th or 6th of December. We don't yet have a delivery date for Pathfinder 5, but it will arrive no earlier than the week between Christmas and New Year's—and possibly later than that.
If you choose the monthly option, we'll basically be making a decision to fire off that box after we get more concrete info. If we find out Pathfinder 5 will arrive on Dec 26, we'd probably hold the December box until then, but if Pathfinder 5 gets pushed later than that, we'd probably instead send the December box after Guardians of Dragonfall arrives (it's currently slated to begin shipping around Dec 18th).
As we said in the e-mail, in the coming weeks, we'll be giving you a lot more visibility and control for your shipments. (Gary has already started teaching our system about the difference between firm and fuzzy release dates...)
And yes, adding non-subscription products to your monthly shipment is pretty high on the to-do list.

thanks for the info on 4 & 5, I'd hate to have a shipment with 3 GM modules & 2 Pathfinders ($$$$ mainly all at once)
also thanks for doing the new option, would hate just to have 1 book come & have shipping tacked onto that just 1 book.
you guys are always looking out for the customer, that right there alone makes me want to buy your products, thanks!!
