I just added up the two numbers, Gets pretty challenging, I know. Otherwise you could estimate the height by this sentence from the SRD:
Long Jump
A long jump is a horizontal jump, made across a gap like a chasm or stream. At the midpoint of the jump, you attain a vertical height equal to one-quarter of the horizontal distance. The DC for the jump is equal to the distance jumped (in feet).
But this makes it really complicated and thinking about it makes my brain hurt ;-)
But a spell of Jump at 11th level gives +30 to jump and thus there should not be a problem to jump directly from column to column.
In my game the artificer built a bridge with fabricate, which was a cool idea and helped the "non-jumpers" to cross the room. Alternatively I would rule, that when the seal is placed in its place, all traps in the room, including the elementals are disabled and the rest of the PCs could fly across, otherwise, you could have the elementals attack immediately, because it would not make much difference what the PCs do.
