I've heard about this before and the system the game uses sounds pretty cool. I think its odd to have your way of relaxing be to play a person in a simulation of real life, but whatever floats your boat.

I'm currently waiting until they make some patches before I really dive in. I keep walking into walls and can't seem to exit the starting location. Beyond that, though, it's surprisingly addictive.

There are no save points and zero re-play value (unless you unlock those options in the religion tab).

Real life is bland, at best. And the monthly fee is outrageous.

Actually, there's a cool cheat that'll allow you to continue playing even if your character dies. You can play other races too. Just declare your character's religion to be Buddhism. Later in the game when it looks like it's all over, *poof* you start again at the beginning. Make sure to build up your karma skill first, though, as the game assigns your new beginning race based on your previous karma skill, and I hear some of those non-human races assigned for lower karma can be VERY challenging.
