First I want to apologize if this isn't the place for this question/request or if it is considered in poor manners.
I'm currently in one group's rotation to run STAP and now I'm looking to do the same in a different group that I'm in. The thing is, the second group has mostly rookie players that seem to really enjoy the White Wolf system. I'd rather just run it using 3.5, but I'm considering attempting to convert it to Exalted (and I admit to being intrigued by the idea). They've never played, but it's a rules set they're more familiar with and I've never run it, but I am rather familiar with the rules.
I think it would be pretty simple up to the Farshore incident. After that, though, I don't know.

I have done this with a group of Exalted players. I placed the map along the coast a few hundred miles south of the City of the Steel Lotus. The Isle of Dread is located on the very edge of the world and was thought lost with the Great Contagion. We're currently halfway through the Sea Wyvern's Wake. The group is playing Dragon-blooded Exalted, not Solars. This was done to have the players start on a low (for Exalted) level so they could grow in power like more starting D&D characters. So far everyone seems to be having a good time.
The big change in converting from D&D is to make the demons and demonic creatures into Raksha instead of mapping them to Exalted's demons. Trips to the Abyss become visits to Middlemarch area in the Southwest. Most of the BBEGs are noble Raksha, not demons from Malfeas.
I put quite a lot of time and mental energy into converting things. I welcome discussing it with you if you are interested.

It turns out that the game isn't going to happen, but I'd still like to do the work. You never know when the chance will come up again.

They are new players so that works just fine, though I'd like to explore possibilities for Solars too.

I hadn't thought of the Raksha. Very interesting idea. Email me at Dax_Thura@yahoo.com.

So, how goes your game?
