New Pathfinder products announced

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

Paizo Employee Chief Technical Officer

I posted quite a few new products for the Pathfinder Chronicles campaign setting Wednesday night, but in case you haven't already found them, here are some links!

Please note that all covers are mockups, and none of the artwork is representative of the actual contents of any of these products.

May 2008:
Pathfinder #10—Curse of the Crimson Throne Chapter 4: "A History of Ashes" by Michael Kortes
Pathfinder Chronicles: Guide to Darkmoon Vale
GameMastery Item Cards: Curse of the Crimson Throne Deck

June 2008:
Pathfinder #11—Curse of the Crimson Throne Chapter 5: "Skeletons of Scarwall" by Greg A. Vaughan

July 2008:
Pathfinder #12—Curse of the Crimson Throne Chapter 6: "Crown of Fangs" by Tito Leati
Pathfinder Chronicles: Curse of the Crimson Throne Map Folio

August 2008:
Pathfinder: Second Darkness Player's Guide (as with the first two Pathfinder Player's Guides, this one will be available at retail in packs of 5)
Pathfinder #13—Second Darkness Chapter 1: "Shadow in the Sky" by James Jacobs
Pathfinder Chronicles Campaign Setting Hardcover

I'll be posting about the newly announced GameMastery Modules in the Modules forum.

Products through at least July will use 3.5 OGL rules. Paizo has not yet made a decision about products scheduled for August or beyond (and I don't want this thread to turn into a discussion of that decision—please feel free to talk about that in a more appropriate thread). Regardless of the edition we use, the Pathfinder Chronicles Campaign Setting book will be fairly rules-light; we aim to make it something that players of either edition will find valuable.

We will be offering subscriptions to the Pathfinder Chronicles supplements in the very near future. Subscribers will get free PDFs of their subscription products, and the shipments can be combined with other Paizo subscriptions to save on shipping costs.

I can also let drop that we haven't announced everything we're doing yet—there's at least one as-yet-unannounced product for early next year that will tie in to Curse of the Crimson Throne. Stay tuned to the Paizo Blog for updates!

The pictures used for the mock-up covers amuse me. Because I recognize most of them!

Thanks for the heads up, Vic!

BTW, could someone point me in the direction of the Treasure Chest special that Paizo is putting out? I can't find it and I was thinking about buying it. (If I start to get some money from my room mate.)

Oh! OHHH! Could it be? Could it be Pathfinder minis?

This sounds great! After I subscribe, how should I go about cancelling the couple of Chronicles supplements I've already pre-ordered for January?

You won't need to. If a product is included in a subscription and you've already purchased it, the subscription won't place an additional order for it. But if you really want to, contact customer.service@paizo.com.

Tars, I wrote that before thinking about all the implications. (Potential subscription discounts, PDFs, etc.)

For now, let's say that contacting customer.service@paizo.com is your best option. I apologize for any confusion.

Okay, will do!
