"Just great..." Grom begins to mutter into his beard as he draws and readies his crossbow to fire if the creature moves to engage any of the group

After the creature drops its blood into the dirty pool it takes flight but is still within range of the quick elf racing across the room, axe held high, he rushes past Talam who is holding position trying to figure out how best to help kill this evil thing. Blackleaf slashes the creature who screams in rage at him for touching it. Grom draws forth his crossbow and fires at the flying creature, his bolt goes wide of his target. The creature seeing the bolt fly by moves even higher out of the reach of the elf and the others all the while moving its arms about and muttering to itself in an unknown language. Lysna also begins to mutter to herself although all of you can hear its somekind of prayer and effects all of you as a warm feeling inside you can be felt, a sense of courage fills your being. Syl'thanos and Vraelyn stand by the door both unsure what they are fighting........
Talam quickly grabs his crossbow and let a shot ring out.
Grom quickly reloads and fires another bolt at the creature and then fires a second bolt just as fast

With the evil creature hovering above the battle field Talam decides his best avenue of attack is his crossbow which he pulls out and takes aim letting the bolt fly out at the thing, it speeds away and flies by it. The screech from the creature as it watches the bolt fly by hurts everyone's ears making things worse for the attackers concentration. It causes Blackleaf to miss judge the distance of the creature to him as his axe swooshes past the flying thing. Grom follows up Talam with shots of his own both streaking by either side of it. seeing threats from all sides it flies higher towards the ceiling out of reach of the painted elf below him all the while muttering and waving its arms about in frantic motions. When finished a glow about 10 feet away from Blackleaf appears out of no where and then dims as quick as it began, in its place sits an enormous rat looking bigger and vicious than most dogs, it has course, spiky fur, malevolent eyess and a long naked tail. It bars its teeth at Blackleaf and rushes into bite the elf as he is distracted by the flying greenish horror but the only thing the rat bites down onto is the hard cobblestones. Lysna tries her hand with the crossbow but also finds her bolt sailing past the thing. A loud sucking noise as the bubbling pool spews forth a nasty creature you know very well by now, a sinspawn. In everybodies mind at the same moment if one could read all at the same time, "Ah so thats where those nasty things come from", plus a few choice curse words in a few different languages of course......The creature makes a blood awful noise and steps out of the pool intent on evil....
"Ah... see this isn't good", Talams grin vanishes for a moment.
Thinking quickly he ducks behind the side of the door and goes about reloading his crossbow.
Not entirely sure she can hit the small thing whilst it's so close to the others Vraelyn instead focuses her aim in the direction of the new appearance that is the sinspawn.
Grom quickly reloads and fires a bolt at the creature in the air Attack 1 (1d20+3=9)
Hearing the sinspawn caused Grom to loose his focus and his shot goes wide right, but the dwarf spins on his heels and rapidly reloads and takes a shot at the sinspawn Attack 2 (1d20+3=5)
Lysna quickly mutters A protective prayer and backs away slightly

Seeing his shot miss, Talam ducks back under cover of the door and begins to reload his crossbow. Since the flying little demon thing or whatever it might be is out of his reach Blackleaf turns his attention to the oversized rat just appearing moments ago. He smashes down and sends bits of the dire rat in every direction. By the door Grom quickly reloads his light crossbow and fires hoping his aim is better this time around but both shots go wide as his aim gets worse under the pressure. The flying creature points its hand at Blackleaf creating a loud ringing noise that hurts everyones ears, Blackleaf's giant axe begins to vibrate feeling like its going to burst apart from the sound!
Lysna steps beside Talam outside the door as he reloads his weapon, she mutters a protective prayer to herself and glows for a second before it fades away. She feels the warmth of her patron flow through her giving her strengh against these evil beings. The creature stepping out of the pool finds an arrow protruding out of its pallid skin and looks to see where it came from, its wrath can be fully seen on its gross features as it spots two elves standing by the door with bows drawn, the female with a small grin on her lips. It starts moving in her direction everything else forgotten in the room.....
Talam, finally having reloaded his crossbow, peeks out from behind the frame and looses another bolt at the winged creature.
Grumbling about not being able to hit the broadside of a mountain, Grom continues to try his barrage of bolts on the flying creature

Feeling slightly braver Lysna Aims her Crossbow at the Imp (or whatever it is) And fires Into blackleaf Probably.... natural 1
Seeing his axe shatter Blackleaf gives himself over to his rage and charges the flying caster

The heroes seem to be in trouble as their efforts result in failures luckly for them the monsters have been in the same boat. Finally having his heavy crossbow reloaded, Talam fires off another bolt at the winged creature. His aim is off as the bolt goes sailing into the wall behind the monster. Shards of metal fall to the ground as Blackleaf's axe shattered by the evil creatures spell. At the site of his beloved weapon now just a big stick he gets mad, real mad and he lets himself become mad, one could say rage would be a better word. Blackleaf rushes and jumps as high as he can and swings his big stick but finds only air as he is out of range of the flying creature hovering at the ceiling. The creature snickers at the elf but only for a moment when the monster looks down at a bolt that has pierced its body, it screams in rage at the wound and does not notice another bolt go whizzing by it. It looks up and screams,You will pay for that DWARF! as the winged creature goes through another round of gestures and arcane words only this time as loud as it can. By the dwarf a glow takes shape and then goes as quick as it came and in the glows place stands a monstrous insect with a long body and multiple legs from head to tail. It lashes out at the dwarf trying to bite and inject its deadly poison but only bites into metal. Hands shaking but trying to be braver than she has been, Lysna moves around the corner of the door and fires from her crossbow or tries to with her body now completely shaking as she sees the flying creature and the evil it radiates. The bolt jams when she pulls on the tickler almost breaking the cocked string which goes slack but shattering the bolt into many shards. Vraelyn however is not shaking having fought many evil creatures in her past, she shoots at the sinspawn and scores a hit slowing it down long enough to begin to reload for her next shot.....
In a fog of rage Blackleaf screams and looks around for a way to get at the flying thing, then he see's the insect thing, with a savage yell he throws himself at it
Oh my gosh! she wiper's looking at the broken crossbow,
She grabs her spear and stays in cover hoping the others can deal with it..
Grom fires another pair of bolts at the flying creature in hopes that one will bring the beast down

The battle continues, Talam steps back and works fast to reload his crossbow again hoping his next shot will be better. Out in the center of things stands a very fustrated elf whose prey is out of reach hovering around the ceiling of this evil room. He turns and finds a new target to take out his wrath out onto, the sinspawn. He races over with his new weapon and swings away but his aim is off missing the creature. Grom has no better luck as both of his shots go wide of the flying creature who is being difficult to hit for the group. The creature cackles in glee as his pets are doing all of the hard work for it. So busy being amused with itself it forgets to attack as it watches its sinspawn's talons rake across Blackleaf's chest drawing blood and its other pet bites into Grom's arm doing the same only the dwarf feels the evil venom from the monstrous centipede. Looking down at the broken bolt, she panics thinking her weapon is totally broken but its just the bolt that blew apart. She grabs up her spear and darts for a hiding place hoping the other will take care of the evil creatures. Vraelyn quickly fires off another shot from her bow at the flying creature and hits causing the creature to stop laughing and give her a look of pure hatred.....
"This is getting annoying" Talam peeks out and fires again. The shot goes wide bouncing off the side of the wall.
"Oh you have to be kidding me..."
With a bestial roar Grom drops his crossbow and draws his axe from his back and lets loose an attack on the creature that had hit him.

Lysna stay's hiding, and pokes her head around the corner "uh.. guys i can heal if you need it?"

Things are not looking good for the heroes as the battle goes on. Talam quickly slides around the corner of the door and fires off a shot but ends up shooting the other door, he curses to the gods for help but they don't seem to be listening today. Blackleaf trades blows with the sinspawn but neither hits each other. Shaking the effects of the poison from the monsterous centipede bite he chucks his crossbow to the side and grabs his battle axe and slashes the creature spilling somekind of goop out of it. The flying creature hovers in the corner of the room by the ceiling cackling content to let his pets have their fun. Lysna continues to hide out of the way of the evil beings being scared out of her wits but does tell the others she can help if anyone needs healing. Vraelyn seeing Grom get bitten by the monster insect fires off a shot at it, she hits the thing in the head finishing it off, it lurches forward and dies at the feet of Grom.......
Talam ducks back around the door cursing his string of bad luck
"Haha good shot elf" Grom says to Vraelyn as the dwarf scrambles to drop his axe and pick up his crossbow reloads and fires a single shot at the flying creature Attack (1d20+5=6) but in being so hasty to get his hot off Grom misloads the bolt and has to check to make sure his crossbow isnt broken
Talam reload and takes aim.
A low growl, followed mulitiple profanities come from the usually joyful halfling.
