Are we, in the US, not going to get to see this until it's released on dvd? I would really rather see Fido on the big screen! I saw a trailer for it a few weeks (possibly months) back & haven't seen any commercials or anything more about it. Has anyone seen or heard about it?

I think this is the best comedy I didn’t laugh during I’ve seen in quite some time, if not ever. It didn’t have any bust out in belly laugh scenes, but it was perfect just the same. Fido does a fantastic job of getting you into the “Leave it to Beaver” mindset, though it does start out a tad slow if you have too many preconceived notions of what the movie might be like. It’s a nice “a boy and his dog” tale, only with the living dead.

It was shown alongside Cthulhu at the Seattle Film Festival this summer last. I didn't get to see it, but it's being advertised here in Korea as coming soon to DVD.
