Is everybody listening to me? Good.
Help!
Sorry, that is incorrect. What I meant to say was,
'Pardon me, sir, but I am in desperate need of aid.'
You see, I could be described as a very strange D&D player.
For one thing, I HATE Eberron.
I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it.
'Why?' you may ask?
I. HATE. it.
Ok, clearly I'm not making any impression. You see, I HATE--I mean, I dislike the whole 'Magic is Technology' feel. See, I used to like Dragonlance. But alas, I soon realized that there were only 2 reasons for that.
Raistlin. And kender.
I LOVE kender. And Raistlin is totally cool. Of course it's obvious to you that it was really the WONDERFUL novels.
And two reasons aloneth arteth noteth enougheth.
So now I need to find a good campaign setting. (NO steampunk. Thus, no Spelljammer or Planescape)

I was going to say Iron Kingdoms, but that's alittle steampunky and magic tech. It's really quite good.
Forgotten Realms if you like huge mapped out worlds and if you liked the novels. Greyhawk is always fun. Ravenloft if you want something a bit more gothic. Darksun? Conan? Call of Cthulhu? You can always do Dragonlance again?

I'm glad you like Dragonlance. I'll always love the little wonderful underdog. I still read the novels. What is Ravenloft? I've heard of it, but I have NO idea what it is, save that the cute little phanatons go in it. And same with Darksun, though isn't it a place with loads of desert? I've always wanted to try Call of Cthullu, but that's a new game system. And isn't Conan some book or movie?

What are those two worlds (I mean, I've never heard of Golarion. And I've hardly heard of Greyhawk. Ain't it some sort of world where there's all city?)?
Golarion is the new world that Paizo's creating with their Pathfinder adventure paths and GameMastery Modules.
Greyhawk is the name of the setting as well as the name of a large city in said setting (the world's name is Oerth, btw.) For an intro to this classic setting, go here for a summary, then you can check out Canonfire! for other goodies. You can also pick Oerth Journal for fan-created goodness.

Sounds ok, I 'spose. loads of rogues, prob'ly, and I LOVE rogues, but there ain't much room for druids, ranger, and barbarions, and those are among my favorites.

Greyhawk and Oerth are huge settings. Take the time to explore them more and you will find room for the rangers and barbarians.

There seems to be plenty of room for all of those classes in Golarion. So far it's a really great world.

I'm at work so I'm copying wikipedia and Yes I enjoy the setting and books of Dragonlance.
Ravenloft
Ravenloft is primarily a Gothic horror setting. Dungeon Masters are encouraged to use scenes that build apprehension and fear, culminating in the eventual face-to-face meeting with the nameless evil. Characters have a much greater significance attached to their acts, especially if they are morally impure, as they risk coming under the influence of the Dark Powers (through the game process called "dark powers checks") and gradually transforming themselves into figures of evil.
The magical mists of Ravenloft could appear anywhere in the Dungeons & Dragons universe, drawing evil-doers (or player characters) into the Ravenloft setting.
So this could work with Dragonlance. Also it's all very classic horror: ie Dracula Werewolves etc.
Darksun
Dark Sun is a discontinued Dungeons & Dragons campaign setting featuring the fictional desert world of Athas.
The themes of this setting could fit in the Dying Earth subgenre and include survival against the elements, ecological disaster, resource depletion, survival of the fittest, slavery and poverty, and the wide-spread use of psionic abilities. The political setting is similar to ancient Middle East, North Africa or Mesopotamia. Water and metals are extremely scarce. Survival against the elements has made it a harsh exotic world.
Conan...You don't know Conan...some book?...some movie? Sigh.....
Conan the Barbarian (also known as Conan the Cimmerian, from the name of his homeland, Cimmeria) is a fictional character often associated with the fantasy, in particular low fantasy, sword-and-sorcery subgenre (also known as heroic fantasy). He has been credited with being the most famous fictional barbarian, and indeed one of the best known and most universally recognizable iconic figures in modern popular culture.[1]
Created by American writer Robert E. Howard in 1932 via a series of fantasy pulp stories sold to Weird Tales magazine, the character has since appeared in licensed books, comics, films, television programs and video games, contributing to his long-standing popularity.
The rpg is basicly Conan's world based loosly on Howard's books.
Sorry I can't do all these justice stupid job.

There's plenty of room for druids, rangers, and barbarians - maybe not in the city of Greyhawk itself, but the setting isn't just the city, there are a lot of other locales to set a Greyhawk campaign in.

Wow. Ravenloft sounds... GREAT. I own Heroes of Horror, and it is wonderful.
I'll try Ravenloft as soon as possible. The others sound nice, but I really like horror. I'll look it up. Thanks.

You might want to look at Midnight from Fantasy Flight Games. It's a low magic setting, think Lord of the Rings were Sauron won.
Ok. Sounds nice.
See, When I said I hate Eberron, that was a tiny itsy-bitsy lie. There are good parts (I can't believe I just said that!). While I don't like the magic ovberload in Eberron, I prefere not to have low magic. I'll look it up.

Ok. I'll look that up, too. Thanks everyone, this has been MOST helpful.
