Destiny awaits in the far-off land of Tian Xia, and the next step of the journey is here with the second part of the Jade Regent Adventure Path, "Night of Frozen Shadows!"

In the icy reaches of northern Avistan, a menace decades old watches for signs that their prey has returned to the Lands of the Linnorm Kings. With the PCs arriving with their precious cargo in the city of Kalsgard, old foes stir to life with sharp blades in their hands and murder in their hearts. The heroes will need every ally before they face the treacherous arctic passage over the Crown of the World, but will they be able to keep them alive in the bitter, cold northern nights?

In addition to the adventure "Night of Frozen Shadows", this volume of the Jade Regent Adventure Path includes details on the city of Kalsgard, and useful (and colorful) characters await in its twisting alleys. Shelyn, goddess of love and beauty, has several pages dedicated to her history and devotion to this benign deity. Bards looking to enhance their singing should certainly look into a new spell, aspect of the nightengale, while those who serve the Eternal Rose should take a look at the customized summon list available to them!

One of the favored duos of our Pathfinder Tales line returns in part two of "Husks", and Count Varian Jeggare and his hellspawned bodyguard, Radovan, are definitely strangers in a strange land as they attempt to unravel a murder mystery.

Finally, we have exotic new monsters from the north! The deadly gare linnorm threatens any traveling the icy rivers, selkies seduce and betray the unwary, and the Spirit of Adoration serves as the goddess Shelyn's herald. Finally, another new oni arrives to plague the lands of mortals—the vile nogitsune!

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

Yay! (First). I am excited by the return of Wayne Reynolds to the covers of the Adventure Paths. It was neat to see his take on Ameiko, and it is equally cool (pun intended) to see his rendition of Shalelu.

Can't wait to have this in my hands. (A Kalsgard gazetteer (yes please), Details on Shelyn (thank you thank you), and more NEW exotic monsters (yay, a new linnorm, selkies, Shelyn's herald, and another new oni)!

Is it next week yet? :)

I can't help think that if you'd just set this AP further south in Riddleport we could have had a proper Pirates vs. Ninja battle. :D

I asked about ninjas in Skull and Shackles. Forecast is "unlikely".

I foresee a lot of player-character ninjas in Skull and Shackles.

As much as I absolutely want it, I'll have to wait until funds allow for it... or Christmas. So stoked for it.

Shelyn's herald..cool..You know I can't remember what her herald is..but still cool.

They got close. The did a Samurai vs. Viking episode. The Samurai won ... naturally.

The nogitsune is the kitsune based one and I can't wait for that either.
