Getting rid of pre-3.5 (for the most part) stuff

3.5/d20/OGL

1 to 50 of 53 << first < prev | 1 | 2 | next > last >>

Ok, sorry to post this here, but there's no "Marketplace" section on these boards. And after getting badly burned by sending a bunch of stuff to someone and not getting paid for it on the WOTC boards, I'm not going back there. Anyway, here's what I'm getting rid of. Everything's pristine or near mint unless I say otherwise.

Here's the best part. I'm giving it away free. There's no catch, though I'm afraid I'm going to have to limit this to the U.S. so I'm not paying foreign shipping costs. If you end up w/ some things that cost me a bit in postage, you're free to send me reimbursement for that alone, but I won't ask for it. Your call. The only other caveat is I don't want to have to send it all to one person, so forget about the "Sure, send it all to me!" replies :)

3.0 PHB
3.0 MM
3.0 DMG
3.0 Psionics Handbook

2nd ed. DM Screen
1988 adventure "The Abduction of Good King Despot" ("mid-to-high levels"; a little wear and tear on the cover)

3.0 Book of Fiends, Vol. 1: Legions of Hell (Chris Pramas)
3.0 Book of Fiends, Vol. 2: Armies of the Abyss (Erik Mona)
3.0 adventure (15th l.) "Lord of the Iron Fortress" (Andy Collins)
3.0 The Book of Eldritch Might I (Monte Cook)
3.0 The Book of Eldritch Might III: The Nexus (Monte Cook)
3.0 adventure "Maze of Zayene: Tower Chaos" (Rob Kuntz) 9th-12th levels
3.0 Character Sheets (I think they're all there...)

Dragon magazine #s 288; 301; 303; 314; 316 (very small crack in outer binding); 323; and 339.

From reading the 4th ed. boards, I realize there's still some of you playing 3.0 or older, so I guess these are meant to interest you. I'll check this thread at least once/day to see if folks are interested. If you don't want to leave your contact info (e.g., email), you can contact me directly at "benstowell at mac.com". If you do that, let me know your Paizo avatar's name so I can potentially identify you, if you wouldn't mind.

If someone at Paizo thinks this is in the wrong section, feel free to move it :)

Thats very nice of you. I did the same with my 3.0 books, and I gave all my old Rap LPs (records for you juniors) to a DJ.

Nice to see your reply, b/c for a minute it seemed like the post got swallowed into the void. I went to another site (read an interesting post from Monte Cook in his blog) and then came back here w/ some trepidation...only to find the post back and your response. Anyway, I see I'm not the first to have an idea like this. I figure if I give it away, I can't get burned for not getting paid :)

I'd take the two Books of Fiends, if you're willing. If you want to toss me an email at theshiningfool at gmail dot com I'd appreciate it.

BenS, I might be interested in the Dragon mags and the Book of Eldritch Might's. Let me check to see what Dragon Mags I am missing. I will get back to you.

Ok, done.

I would be interested in both of these adventures. The third edition one wouldn't be too bad to convert to 3.5, and I run a C&C campaign, the old adventure would be a cinch to convert for that game.

Send me an email at lojakz (a) yahoo.com

BenS, The only Dragon Mags that I need are issues 316 and 323. I would like the Book of Eldritch Might books too. My e-mail addy is kwjackey@yahoo.com Send me an e-mail and I could cut you a check on Monday for the price of them. Thanks ahead of time.

~sighs~ Now, if I could only get Dungeon Mags Issues 111 to 113. Oh well.

Hey Sharoth, if you live anywhere near northern CA, there is a store in my city that has 5-6 copies of Dungeon 113.

~grins~ Unfortunatly, I live in Savannah, GA. You know, Georgia. The place where Men are Men. Women are too. And the sheep are verrrryyyy nervous! ~chuckles~ My Dungeon collection goes from 89 to 110, then from 114 on up. ~sighs~ I so wish I had picked them up a few years ago.

I'd love to have "Book of Fiends, Vol. 2: Armies of the Abyss" - I emailed you.

Someone beat you to it, but as we discussed via email, you were really looking for the Fiendish Codex book instead.

BenS, I jsut recieved the stuff you sent me! Thanks again and I really do appreciate it!

Sharoth,

I will look in my LFGS and see if they have it in stock, they have a lot of back issues. If they do, I will make arrangements to get it to you at whatever cost I pay - if you are interested.

Let me know.

Glad to hear it. I was coming back to bump this thread but it's limping along on its own :)

I still have some stuff for new readers here, but I guess the most desirable things went fast...

Just letting you know that i received the modules. I appreciate it, The Good King Despot looks fun. (And now i have a reason to find the other three modules for the series too).

I want to compliment you on the condition, very impressive. I try and take care of my book as well, but have never been that successful.
If you're address is correct on the package I'll send you a money order for the cost of shipping.

Thanks again

I have sent you an e-mail about it

Glad to hear everything arrived in good shape. Yeah, I'm a bit compulsive about my things staying in good shape (cough*anal retentive*cough).

As for the money order, actually, please don't send one. I feel better about these transactions if they truly feel like gifts, w/ nothing given in return. In fact, I just decided to open these items up to overseas folks as well, though by now most everything is spoken for.

Good luck w/ the The Good King Despot adventure. That really is a ton of fun!

Got the email, and have responded. You'll be my first shipment overseas (well, of D&D products).

FOR EVERYONE ELSE: I HAVE SOME STUFF REMAINING, AND I'LL SHIP IT ANYWHERE YOU LIKE.

No sense charging some people and not others. It's all free.

I'd like to take the 3.0 DMG if it hasn't already been spoken for.

Thank you!

i'm interested in any dungeon magazines you have left. I dont suppose you have a copy of 2 ed "The Night Below"? And there was also a boxed set with a thief and a wererat about to jump 2 adventurers in an alley which was a city based source rulebook set which i'm looking for.

EDIT: i did not even realize you were giving it up for free! i would be happy to pay for all the shipping costs.

I would love to get Dragon #339, if no one else has asked for it yet. That one never showed up while I was living in MD, but I didn't have a group at the time and somehow I didn't notice the lost issue until months later.

My e-mail is ungoded(at)yahoo(dot)com.

Hi,

Do you have any of the Dragon mags left? If so, I would LOVE them!!! (I need all of them)

Please shoot me an e-mail:

Wha-?

Lord of the Iron Fortress is the one mod from that first Adventure Path that I'm missing! Is it too late to score that one?

Niko, you're good for the 3.0 DMG. I'll email you tonight after work, get your shipping info, and have it ready to send on Tuesday when I come back to work.

Sorry Baron, I didn't list any issues of Dungeon in my initial post :( Those are keepers for me :) And I don't have the other products you mentioned.

You got it my friend. I'll email you tonight for your shipping info, and send it to you on Tuesday. That will be the last of my spare Dragon issues; you're getting an especially good one, too! I accidentally bought a duplicate some time ago.

Funny how this all has worked out. Yes, it's still available and yours for the taking. It's a mighty fun module. I ran through it twice. I can't remember if the Steel Predators got updated in a Monster Manual for 3.5, but they're pretty deadly w/ 3.0 stats.

Send me your contact info and I'll ship it to you on Tuesday. I'm at: benstowell (at) mac.com

Fletch, I'm still waiting on your contact info, assuming you're still interested in this module. I'd like to only make one trip to the post office (tomorrow) if at all possible. I guess this is a bump :)

You must have skipped through to the end of the thread :) Most of what you asked about was claimed by previous posters. However, the 3.0 MM is still available, and if Fletch doesn't come forward in the next few days to claim the "Lord of the Iron Fortress" module he asked about last week, then I guess you'll be the "1st alternate".

Send me an email w/ your name & address to "benstowell (at) mac.com" and we can go from there.

Entirely my fault. Can you believe I forgot this thread even existed until just today?

Sorry to cause you any extra troubles, Ben, and if it’s easier for you to send a bunch of stuff to just Baron Arem than to send multiple packages, I won’t put up a fuss if you pass your Iron Fortress on to him.

No, you got in just under the proverbial wire. Baron hasn't given me his contact info yet, so you get the module.

At this point (for new readers) I only have a few items left:

3.0 PHB
3.0 MM (Baron's got dibs on this for a short while, and then it's back in the running)
3.0 Psionics Handbook

Everything else has been accounted for and sent.

I would love the PHB and Psionics book

1901 S. 4th Ave. Apt. #13

That being said I think it is incredibly awesome and generous of you to be so freely giving with what I am sure are cherished possessions. I deeply appreciate it. I've always wanted the psionics book and my 3.0 Player's Guide is so worn the cover has fallen completely off. It's mostly being held together by love, friction and reverent handling.

So thank you! You're name will forever be penned into my Book of Studs.

You...have a book of studs?

Ben S, this is an excellent idea - gamer charity, as it were. I'll chat up my roomie about it - between the two of us, we have tons of gamer goodness to get rid of, and it'd be a crying shame to simply toss so much in a dumpster.

At the least, I'll paw through my stuff and sort out what I must keep as compared to what I've simply been holding onto and post the (hefty) list here once the sorting is complete.

Hrm ... this could take a while ...*starts rummaging

Scarab Sages

I got Dragon 339 today. Perfect condition.

Thank you again, Ben.

Wow, it's going to be a clean sweep. I'll send you those 2 on Tuesday when I go back to work (thank you federal holidays). Sounds like you're still playing 3.0 Grimcleaver, so these should work great for you. They're in perfect condition, too. I had the misfortune to get back into D&D after 3.0 had been out a while...and we all know what followed it. So I never really used my 3.0 books. I will say that I think the 3.5 Expanded Psionics Handbook is the cat's meow. You might want to get familiar w/ the 3.0 version, and check out the 3.5 in your nearest FLGS and go from there.

Good lord, look what I started :) Never thought of myself as a trend-setter. Sounds like you have a lot more to pass on than I do, Turin. Definitely don't throw it away in a dumpster. Might as well recycle to our fellow gamers.

Feel free to keep using this thread if you want for your own stuff, when it's time to post it. Unless it'd be cleaner to start a new one...

Sorry, Swirler, it's all accounted for now.

I'm kicking myself for not having done this w/ a bunch of great stuff I tried to sell on the WOTC boards earlier in the year. A few things were purchased by one honorable fellow, but I sent a bucketload of stuff to another--all excellent Planescape stuff--to a guy in San Jose, CA who stiffed me. That upset me so much that I decided to just give away future stuff so I wouldn't go through that disappointment again. Actually, there's one good thing that came out of that. I pretty much gave up on the WOTC boards and came over to Paizo.
