Where has the Acteaon gone?

3.5/d20/OGL

Heads up oldskoolers!! I am trying to see if any of you can recall a 1st edition monster called the "Acteaon" (I think thats its name) a moose headed forest defender (think minotaur but with moose head)druid type monster with breath weapon. I never saw him for 2nd or 3rd/.5 any thoughts on where to find?

There's a 3.5-ed. conversion over on ENWorld somewhere.

The Acteaon is in the Master's Rules set for basic D&D. The breath weapon turned you into a harmless forest creature. I think there was even an ecology article in dragon on it. I'd check the index in the Ecology compilation but my books are waiting in rhode island. There was another cervid-headed monster in the Horde boxed set. I don't recall the name of it. That set is also in Rhode Island.

Enworld Stats thanks to google...

sorry if this is double-posted. My alternate self posted it, but I didn't go through.

Thanks for the internet!!! You had the info that I needed!!!
