Detail of Riddleport and Magnimar

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

Dark Archive

I'm chomping at the bit for more info but seeing that I have a plethora of 3.5 stuff that I've never used I was wondering what the impact of using Freeport as Riddleport and Liberty as Magnimar would be?

How much are Riddleport and Magnimar going to be detailed, i.e. to the extent of either of the previous products?

Thanks,

Magnimar is going to be featured big-time in Pathfinder 2, I imagine to about the same extent as Sandpoint was in 1. Not sure about Riddleport.

Ah yes - I'm just getting through the Thassilon section of Pathfinder #1 where it references what's in the upcoming issues. Ah well - best laid plans and all that.

City adventures are always very fun. The rogue will really get a chance to shine.

We will eventually be detailing Riddleport. There's a very good chance, I believe, that the actuall Freeport may be located on our world map elsewhere, as well, so you might want to hold off replacing Riddleport with Freeport. BUT: Riddleport's flavor will probably be close to Freeport. The pirate element will likely be toned down quite a bit though. I'm kinda tired of pirates for a bit. (See Savage Tide.)

I think it would be COOL to see those two cities make it into the Pathfinder setting. And my opinion is in no way influenced by the fact that I've got an adventure coming out for Liberty's Temple Quarter...or several friends that have contributed to Freeport.

Honest...

What? No one believes me...?

Why won't anyone believe me when I say things like that?!

I have a campaign in the works that uses riddleport quite extensively, so i was wondering whether Riddleport would be detailed in CotCT AP, or would i be later on.

It will probably get some more details later.

Riddleport will eventually be quite detailed. For now, there's a little info about it coming up in Pathfinder 3, along with a picture of the city and their own Thassilonian monument.
