We have Sin magic for Specialist Wizards. Is there anyplan to use the Divine Sin/Saintly Magic from Dragon 323 & 355 ? Or to update it for the Pathfinder setting? Has anyone already done this? If I updated it for use would anyone be interested in it? If anyone has any Ideas for Sorcerer Specialists I would be interested in it.

Perhaps in Pathfinder #5 or #6 we may have some more info on sin magic... prospects look very good for such information there, in fact...

Is there going to be anything that is used for PC's early on perhaps?
And thank you for the swift responce but it also gets me wondering. Do you get ANY sleep?

James doesn't need sleep. He has unlocked the secrets of the universe and developed a carefully balanced diet of Fruit Loops, Yoohoo soda, and motor oil that lets him work 24/7 without need for sleep, bathroom breaks, or even air.

There'll be a magic item or two here and there, but for the most part, the PCs aren't really exposed to much ancient Thassilon magic until adventure 4, and it doesn't REALLY get rolling till adventure 5. Which is the volume that'll have the section in the back called, "Magic of Thassilon."
And yeah... I just grabbed a few hours of sleep. Posting this just after I woke up! :)

I always knew that Yoohoo was one of the ingredients in Lichdom I just was never sure about the friut loops and motor oil. So James did you construct Mike on your own or did you need help to put the pieces togeather?

I was planning on trying to intigrate the PC's as deeply as I could into the game setting. Is it just easier to have a "Stranger in a Strange land" setup then? Or is it that Sin Magic just so old no one practices it right now, or very few? By the way I just watched the youtube of Nick Logue does this mean he is the inspiration for the evil Fey?

Maybe this will be answered later, but is sin magic actually somehow powered by sins, or is it just their way of categorizing magic exists in the world (another culture could group the same magics differently and call it "color magic" or "animal totem magic")?

It's more like the latter, as I understand it.

That explains too much . . . . It explains his fasination with pink pigtails and gnomes . . . he would revere his creator's after all . .

Ya know . . . I almost started to translate that . . but knowing mike it'd probably just be a message that my laundry is ready for pick up.

This certainly explains his fascination with making things explode in EVE. Gnomish contraptions always do seem to involve something, somewhere, going kaboom.
On topic:
Sin magic is a fascinating name. If I ever get to play in the Pathfinder world - as opposed to eventually DMing, which is inevitable - I may make a cleric or sorcerer dedicated to the original values of the sin magics, and dedicated to reviving the arts of rune magic in the original 'virtue' state.
