Wizards has said that their october issue of "dragon" will contain a new demonicon article. I was just wondering if James Jacobs is continuing his work on the project, or if wizards has hired someone new.
I'm writing it. It's about Graz'zt. It's way late, though... hopefully I'll be able to finish it off this weekend and send it off to WotC.

Hey James Just wanted to tell you I love the deminicon articles. I would like to see, if possible, that you continue to give the stats for the Aspects of the demons. Doing this is a nice touch for the lower level players as very few, I think, play epic. I just back ordered some of the issues that I don't have with the deminicon articles in it and was very disappointed that some don't have the aspect any more. I hope that this has not been removed from future articles.
I think what i like about the series is that it is so complete. It gives great information about a how an organization works, letting you fairly easily place the demon cult in your campaign. It gives a prestige class for players that want to be evil and get a numerical advantage by learning about the organization, or for creating a BBEG with prestige classes. You get a rough layout of the plane and an epic monster for higher level play. You, I hope still, get the aspect for a lower level evil bad guy summon. Then of course you get the whole evil coolness of demons.
I don't think i can remember any series that gives you such a nice versatility for use in a campaign. I mean any of these bits can be taken out and used separately or as a whole. I have found a great deal of disappointment in articles geared to a certain Gaming worlds that can't be used out side of it with out $40 purchases of world books. I buy..sorry bought Dragon instead of a hard cover book and found no end of frustration when articles were rendered useless because they asked me to refer to a feat or spell or rule found in a book I don't have.
I like your stuff. Sadly I wouldn't buy a Deminicon Book as i already have all the magazines with the articles in it. If I didn't have all those issues then hell yeah. The stuff is great.

Many of the demon lords already have aspects statted up, either on WotC's website, in the Minis Handbook, or in Expedition to the Demonweb Pits. Rather than "waste" half a page reprinting them for the last several Demon Lords... I decided to just focus on the new stuff. The Demonomicon of Graz'zt will likely do the same.
