Gaming crossborder

Hi all,

maybe someone has already encountered the same problem (or should I say the same opportunity?) that is, playing with friends that do not live (anymore) in your city/country.

Is there a good way to run an as traditional as possible gaming session through the internet, with the aid of a webcam/voip program? Has anyone tried it? Are there specialized and trustworthy websites?

The webcomic Full Frontal Nerdity has a webcam player in the core cast. We had a Player move away and considered this route, but never could get it going.

I've been told by friends that Fantasy Grounds and other virtual tabletops work pretty well. Can't seem to find the list one of my Players sent once.

Let me know if you come up with a solution that works.
