I don't know how helpful this would be but I figured I'd throw it here.
In the same way "D" designates a Dungeon adventure and "W" a wilderness one, could we not have a lower-case Letter Designation for the intended APL? So, W1-b, "Conquest of Bloodsworn Vale" would be the 1st Wilderness, Mid-level adventure. Use "a" for low levels, etc.
Eventually, if Paizo's Gamemastery modules succeed, sequels will be in demand. Many people will assume, at least early on, that D2 will follow D1 the way that mod follows D0 -- Paizo has even given an answer to this in the Paizo Blog because they know the question will come.
Wouldn't the lower-case designation help out if Bulhman or someone else eventually writes a sequel to W1: "Conquest...," designated W1-c?
So, Paizo could publish U3-a, an Urban adventure for a low APL and then, if it is really good, could publish U3-b -- instead of U9 (or whatever number is next) and no one can remember which "U" was the first of the set.

I certainly did. The problem with extending the codes is it gets convoluted. I'd love to see codes that indicate a series, and include CR levels, but when someone new comes looking for an adventure to buy and sees D0.FH1.L1 (Dungeon crawl, Falcon's Hollow Line, Party Level 1), they might be turned off by the complexity.
