I saw this movie awhile ago, but never thought to mention it here.
If you get the opportunity, SEE THIS MOVIE! It is easily the funniest movie I have ever, ever seen. Doubly so since I have been through my wife's pregnancy and resulting childbirth.
The lead male character is the funniest guy I've seen since Steve Carell.

I agree. Great movie. I think I liked it better than the 40-Year Old Virgin, which is hilarious.
Huh... I thought Knocked Up was only almost as funny as 40 Year Old Virgin. But since 40 Year Old Virgin is amongst the funniest movies of all time, this is still a great review. :)
So I agree with Fates: See this movie, it's AWESOME.

You don't have kids and haven't been through a significant others' pregnancy yet then, have you? 40-Year-Old Virgin is indeed one of the most hilarious movies ever. I think that, if I were a bachelor, it would beat Knocked Up. However, I have been there and thus, Knocked Up is the superior funny, imo. :)

Knocked up is one of the scariest movies I have ever seen. I am afraid of children, and more specifically I am afraid I would ruin one (i.e. my kid becomes a mass murderer). That movie shook me to my core. Thankfully my wife went with me and held my hand through the scariest parts.
~LAUGHTER~ You poor man! So what you are saying is that this movie is in the wrong thread? :-)

I want to see "Superbad" when it comes out. It's by the same guys that did "Knocked Up" and it looks really funny.
"Your name's McLovin?!"
"Well, yeah.."
"That's awesome!"
"Just rolls off the tongue."
"Like a sexy hamburger."
I saw Superbad last weekend and it was excellent, maybe not as pithy at knocked up but more hard core laughing, I loved Cera's musical number!
And considering the garbage movies this summer this was definitely on top, best I have seen in the theater since Hot Fuzz.
