Charter's Prestige Class

Stuck at work and I just thought it would be cool if the charter subscribers could get an exclusive prestige class included with their Pathfinder #1 PDF or in an email. Little close to the ship date to be asking this but I think it'd be a neat extra :)

Phat Lewtz are always cool. But I am happy to be a charter subscriber without it. It's all of the charter subscribers that are giving the Paizo staff the encouragement they need to make Pathfinder work. Imagine if they made the announcement and NOBODY signed up? Such discouragement would have probably seen resumes dusted off.

I am pretty sure we (charter subs) get the players guide (print version) for free (the pdf will be free to all). Yeah o.k., thats only $2, but hey, maybe we can convince Erik, James, and Co. to SIGN our copies...that would be a cheap, easy, and quick (albeit carpal-tunnel inducing) option.

True about charter tag. I'd been buying the magazines in the store and reading the boards for the last few years, but when I read about Pathfinder and what was coming up, I felt I had to show my support directly.

Something that I just realized, I really believe that the great print product is only 1/2 of why I love Dragon, Dungeon, and now Pathfinder. The other 1/2 is the messageboards. Although I've been an online gamer for the last 5 years and using the internet for the last 12, I've always avoided chatrooms and messageboards before because of the immature, negative, or confrontational attitude of a lot of the posts I've seen. At Paizo, though, I really love the tongue-in-cheek demeanor of most of the people and the fact that not only do the staff members respond personally to questions but they also frequently post just to be part of the threads that aren't strictly game related.
I hope for a long future for Pathfinder and GameMastery and of course Paizo :)

Bah . . . you and your spiffy "Charter" subscriber tag . . . oh, dancing around like your someone special . . . .

I can't wait to be able to get a subscriber tag . . . charter or otherwise. I just hope it's soon.

I don't know guys - being a charter subscriber I would of course like it, but this reminds me of the old "subscriber only" fiasco that popped up several years ago in Dungeon. It seemed to exclude more people than it made feel special.

I didn't have a dungeon subscription back then (poor law student, so I couldn't afford it), but I'd pick up an issue whenever I had spare cash on me. It always irked me then that there were whole adventures I wasn't getting because I picked up the issue off the rack. I believe that Dungeon received many complaints about it and decided to discontinue the subscriber only material.

So - while it would be cool for us, Pathfinder is just getting under way. The Paizo folks probably don't want to exclude anyone.

I wasn't aware of that :\ Anyway, it was just a little idea that popped into my head while I'm stuck working my second shift in 24 hours. I also was expecting anything big or ongoing, just a 4-5pg add-on that one time.

Well, we elite gold plus club members (meaning pathfinder charter subscribers) are already getting a free copy of the Player's Guide. That's a $5 value, right there! And from the preview on the blog, it looks like a pretty sweet little package.
