I ordered OOTS Start of Darkness back on April 23rd. I've seen that other people have already received their copy. Any idea when my order will be shipped out?
Start of Darkness has not yet arrived at Giant in the Playground's sales distribution partner, so the book is not yet available in distribution or at retail. We're poking them daily, and as soon as we can get our copies, we'll ship them out.
Hate to disagree with you Vic, but I already have Start of Darkness in hand. I ordered it from APE games before I started hanging out at Paizo on a regular basis after the big announcement (and at the time I also forgot that you guys would likely be carrying it).
In any case it arrived for me yesterday from the other company, so you might want to talk to Rich about why he's holding out on you. ;)

Hate to disagree with you Vic, but I already have Start of Darkness in hand.
I know Ape Games has it—but they're the only people that do (they don't count as retail—they're GiantITP's online partner, and they purchase their copies directly from GiantITP).
Giant in the Playground's sales distribution partner, Impressions Marketing, doesn't have it yet. They're the ones who are exclusively responsible for it getting to all hobby distributors and retailers, including us. They expected to have it at the same time as Ape Games, but that didn't happen (and a lot of folks are unhappy about it).
Ah I see, okay. Sorry about that, I didn't realize they weren't a retail partner.
