Obox-Ob to appear in Dungeon 149?

Dungeon Magazine General Discussion

Dark Archive

Looking at the new cover for 149, I noticed it said it contained adventures featuring Malcanthet, Igwwilv, Orcus, Charon, and Obox-Ob. We already know the first 4 in that list get stat writeups in the Enemy of my Enemy, does that mean we are getting a CR 32 writeup for Obox-Ob like we are for Orcus? If so I think I am going to have a brain aneurysm for the joy of it. How much awesomeness can one magazine have?

All five of them have stat blocks in that issue. Some are aspects. Some are not. I probably should have put Gwynharwyf and Celeste on there too, come to think of it...

Are you sure the entire adventure isn't just made up of stat blocks?

;-)

Heh.

Yeah, I'm sure. I'm also sure it's the second-longest adventure Dungeon has ever printed, partially because of the stat blocks, but also because there's a LOT of awesome stuff BETWEEN the stat blocks.

I never doubted it. This adventure will rock supremely (unless you are a saintly goody two-shoes paladin who kills every demon he sees on sight regardless of the circumstances). For those guys the adventure might be one of their shortest!

To quote everyone's favorite lich, "I think I just had an evilgasm!"

Indeed. Iggwilv looks hot again.

Anyone know who the artist is this time?

Sure, "Dr. Jacobs", if that is your real name, you think you know everything about Dungeon!

I do! Been obsessing over it for the past 150 issues, in fact.

Does this mean that they got stat blocks, too, just no love on the cover?

Cool.

I always like his work. Try and keep him busy.

Both Gwynharwyf and Celeste do indeed get stat blocks.
