My most recent post shows up when I check my recent posts, but it's nowhere to be seen on the message boards. Is something up?

This happens sometimes. We have multiple server applications running, and they're supposed to share information on new and useful content, but sometimes some apps refuse to listen to some of the traffic. We haven't worked out the solution for this, but the good news is that it usually fixes itself pretty quickly, and doesn't affect more than a few posts every now and then.

the drag on the bandwidth should limit all replies to 3-, 5-, and 7- word phrases. Hopefully referencing some pop culture or a cool thing from yer childhood or zombies.
