Just thought I'd do a little self promotion, since I have a feeling my fellow paizonians are operating at the same frequency that I am. Anyone on these boards from southern Ontario, or anyone visiting Toronto in early July might want (what do I mean might? Your life will not be complete unless you attend this) to check out a play that I wrote called Geek-Gasm that's premiering at the Toronto Fringe Festival.
Geek-Gasm is the play for Geeks, by Geeks, about Geeks. Its a comedy set at a convention that pokes fun at the divisions that drive Geeks apart (Marvel vs. D.C., Paizo vs. WOTC, etc.), and the social ostracism that brings them together. The humor is on the Kevin Smith, Quentin Tarantino (well back when he was good anyway) tip - conversational and situational.
If this sounds like your thing (and I think it is), check out the play's website: http://www.myspace.com/critical_fumble. Heck, check it out even if you aren't near Toronto :)
...Oh and if Ed Greenwood is anywhere I have some free tickets with your name on them... How cool would that be to have the illustrious Elminister show up to your play! (Hey I already warned you it was written by a Geek)

Thanks for the encouragement guys, that's awesome. Kirth, you've got to convince her to convert like I did with my girlfriend. There is nothing in the world as amazing as arguing with your partner about what spell or magic item is better :)
Yeux, that's serious dedication! If you do come in let me know, I think that I owe you at least a ticket to the show :)

David! Congratulations!!! My wife (that's right, she's my wife now) just got two shows in the NYC Fringe Festival so I know how good you must feel! Savor the flavor of success my friend!!!
When in July? I may be in Buffalo/NYC around then...but if it conflicts with Origins I can't do it. Otherwise, I'll definitely try and make it there!
Congratulations on your victory again sir!!!

Thanks! Congrats to your wife as well (2 plays, she must be working overtime!). Here's the schedule (it looks like the first half does overlap with Origins - D'oh):
Dates and TimesSaturday July 7th, 1:45 PM
Sunday July 8th, 7:00 PM
Monday July 9th, 5:00 PM
Thursday July 12th, 7:30 PM
Friday July 13th, 12:30 PM
Saturday July 14th, 11:00 PM
Sunday July 15th, 4:30 PM
If you are up north for the second half it's at the George Ignatieff theatre, 15 Devonshire Place, which is just south of the St.George subway station (if you're familiar with T.O. at all)

Nick-- I'll be driving through Buffalo sometime around July 8th or 9th (from Albany en route to Toronto)... if you're in that neighborhood, I could easily arrange to stop and buy you a beer to celebrate your recent nuptuals.

UPDATE:
For all the Facebookers out there (actually that sounds pretty cool - conjures up ideas for a Planescape faction), we've recently joined the throngs. Just search for Geek Gasm (we're the only one)or follow this link:

And hi to all the cool people we met promoting the show at the Paradise Comic Convention this past weekend!

UPDATE:
Less than a week to go until Geek-Gasm hits the stage at the Toronto Fringe Festival. We are very excited to announce that everyone who comes to the opening show (Saturday, July 7th, 1:45) will recieve a FREE COMIC BOOK courtesy of 3rd Quadrant Comics! We are also encouraging all the Cosplayers to come in costume (like you need an excuse). Mainly because we think it would look totally awesome and secondly because it will create a big splash, turn some heads and show everyone else at the Fringe what geekin' it's all about!

Sorry, man, I missed it: as it turns out, I was back in the U.S. as of the 4th. Hope the whole thing went well!
No problem. At least you got back home in time for the big holiday (4th of July not so big up here :).
Things are going really well. Geek-Gasm has been declared the patrons' pick for our venue, and we couldn't be happier. For anyone who is in the Toronto area there are still 3 shows to see: one late at night tonight at 11:00, one on sunday July 15 at 4:30 and a bonus patrons' pick show also on sunday at 6:15.We still have some really cool posters left, so if any paizonians come to the show give me a shout and I'll give you one.
