A barbarian cannot (barring a special ability stating otherwise) enter a new rage if fatigued.

If a barbarian is already raging and becomes fatigued, does he drop out of rage?

If so, then does the fact that dropping out of rage normally causes fatigue mean that the barbarian moves from fatigued to exhausted?

Please cite sources. Thanks!

A barbarian does not drop from rage sure to being fatigued, as the restrictions only state he cannot enter a rage, not that he cannot maintain a rage when fatigued.

I am intrigued by the second question, and will look to see what others say prior to weighing in.

From the PRD:

Quote:
atigued: A fatigued character can neither run nor charge and takes a –2 penalty to Strength and Dexterity. Doing anything that would normally cause fatigue causes the fatigued character to become exhausted. After 8 hours of complete rest, fatigued characters are no longer fatigued.

Since dropping from rage normally causes fatigue, if you are already fatigued, it would instead drop you to exhausted.

I am not yet answering the first one, as I am not 100% sure if being fatigued will drop you out of rage..
