The Dangerous Book for Boys

Books

Liberty's Edge

Just picked this up, by Con and Hal Iggulden.
Short 1/2 page essay on rpg's, they say "there are few inventions of the twentieth century that can combine imagination and entertainment so well."
It's just a book about all the things a boy should know about, and should know how to do---from Robert the Bruce to building a treehouse.

And I reckon girls can read it too. I don't care.

If I'd had that when I was a lad, I wouldn't have been able to let go of it.

I saw one of the author's interviewed on The Colbert Report. He handled himself with great humor and confidence.

Grand Lodge

I saw him too. It sounded like a hell of a book.

Oh yeah, someone recently bought that book for my dad, I've taken a flick through it, looks pretty cool.

Read that bit on RPGs too.
