Online - Savage Tide

Gamer Connection

I'm starting a new group and I'm short 1 player.

The game is online, using my own software(*). We plan on playing Fridays starting at 7pm EST until we can't play any longer :P which should be around 1 or 2 am.

The composition of players so far is:
2 gamers who have been playing with me for about 10 years (on the table and recently online).
1 totally new player (has played computer games only). Very enthusiastic, so I'm rooting for him to become a good player.

Your age, gender, and proficiency with the game doesn't matter; we have it all already. But, being there to play is important. Simply put, we won't play if someone is missing. Think about your commitment before applying.

We'll be playing Savage Tide, and as such, I don't know if Paizo's boards are a good place for this ad ;) Does anybody here has NOT been reading the AP?

(*)
The software is PC-Win only (sorry Linux and Mac users, crossplatforming sucks, specially as a lone programmer).
For normal people: You need a desktop computer bought in the last 3 years; or a nice laptop (get a real mouse though).
For techies: You need a video card supporting vertex and pixel shaders version 2.0.
For everybody: If you can play any of last years A1 games ($50 games) you're good.

Make no mistake, this is real tabletop gaming. And for the record, me and my other group (Sundays) have been playing with it for months, not all features are finished but we can play comfortably.

No voice communication--We tried that and the moment I amped up the roleplay it sucked. People were speaking on top of each other (no one likes to be interrupted) and without body language there is no way to see it coming, because of this players (as opposed to characters) started fighting. Writing has been a lot more conductive to roleplay.

PS. For those of you asking themselves why not use one of the other online tabletops, the answer is: because they sucked in one way or another, paid and free, I tried them all. If I can do better, why not? And it has the added bonus that I can add or change stuff whenever I want to, and oh boy! do I have a list of features.
