Do I just walk in on the day and say - I'd like a copy please?
Do I sign up in advance with Paizo? WIth the store?
I can't believe there will be any copies left if there's no advanced sign up, but maybe it's all first come first served?

To the best of my knowledge, details on the distribution of the free products is left up to the individual store to determine. If you have a store near you, I highly suggest contacting them directly.

as of yet the stores are not aware of how many of each product they are getting either, and being the first year I'm not sure if they will until the box arrives at their door... the best time to get information might be the week preceding the event, after stores have opened and counted their loot and before any is given away.... if it is done like free comic book day, most places will let you choose one or two things, and then more based upon promotions (sometimes 1 extra for each $20 spent or an extra if you bring your library card - things like that)
I'm nowhere near one of the participating retailers. Is there a way to get it direct from Paizo?
How long before the day will the stores get the adventure? I have volunteered to run it at the store that day and need a bit to make some pre-gens and get prepped.

Since we are not directly tied to the process of shipping these out to stores, I cannot say when they will arrive. If your store does not know, they might want to contact the Free RPG Day people directly.
That said, they should get it a few days in advance, at least. I would think so anyway.

Just a note to let the Paizo folks know that my FLGS will not be participating in the Free RPG day (they are being sold and are too busy to run events. I am sure you understand :0 ). Thus, I too would like to get in on getting D0 even if I have to pay for it.

As and ye shall receive! We've just put D0: Hollow's Last Hope up for preorder here. Preorders will not be shipped until June 25th, the Monday following Free RPG Day. Remember, you can get this adventure for FREE by visiting a participating retailer on June 23, 2007. On June 25th, we will also be making a free PDF of Hollow's Last Hope available for download. For those of you who want a print edition of this adventure, get your preorders in while you can! The module has a very small quantity available, so we have limited it to one module per customer.
