Affiliations (spoiler)

Are the affiliations coming back into the plot, or are they demoted to background RP? I don't see any mention of them beyond the fifth adventure except the Olman one.

Also, some of the affiliation benifits are not practical outside of Sasserine. Will there be an update with Farshore benifits?

There is a paragraph (somewhere) that lists individuals in Farshore that serve as representatives of the various affiliations. Lavinia for example acts as the Dawn Council in Farshore.

I assume that it means that the PCs continue to treat the affiliations the same as in Sasserine.

Besides, the affiliations are kinda extra minor plot/background. YOu can run the adventures without them, so I see why there isn't a lot of info for expanding them.

By the time Savage Tide gets into the endgame in the Abyss... the affiliations do kind of take a back seat to the action on stage. This is mostly intentional; they're meant to support PCs and give them some motivation and such, but once the PCs are 17th level and up, chances are good that if they've been active, they're leaders (or almost) of their affiliations. That type of development is pretty complex and VERY campaign specific (as in individual campaign, not overall), so it's best handled by each DM on a case-by-case basis.

The Savage Tidings articles in Dragon have had some updates, though; I believe the latest one has some as well.
