Scarab Sages

While paging through one of the numerous D&D books at Barnes and Noble over a year ago, i came across one with a class that i can only think would be called an Underdark Scout? Anyone out there know the true name of the class i am speaking of and to which book it can be found? Your help is always appreciated. Thanks again.

The book held a few classes within its pages. This particular class would strongly resemble an underdark scout class. It was designed for those certain characters (including humans) that wanted to make a living exploring the underdark. It gave benefits for finding traps, following tunnels, etc, in the underdark. I dont know how to expain it better than this. Hope this helps.

Try Prime Underdark Guide from the Underdark book from Forgotten Realms.

Do you remember if it was a 5 or 10 level PrC? I know there's a 5-level PrC in the Complete Adv. called the Dark Hunter which might encompass some of the things you've mentioned.

That could be it. I'll have to stop by the bookstore today and take a look. Thanks.

Im sorry to dispute ya Fatespinner, but the dark hunter is in the complete warrior.

I just read over it and it sounds real close to what you are looking for. I hope this helps.

(P.S. It's on page 20 of the complete warrior)

You know, I realize you're right after the fact. I remember it being a very 'ranger-y' PrC and I just automatically filed it into the Complete Adventurer in my head. Thanks for catching my mistake!
