I don't know whether something like this is already in the making, but I think that the concept of WIzards of the Sins should be expanded upon:
Personally, I never considered a specialist to be a great choice, and with the prohibited schools being pre-set, I think specialist wiazrds adhering to the Seven Sins should get some boost, either with a Prestige Class or with an alternate class feature.
Something like this:
Wizard of Sin
Select one of the Seven Sins. You gain the two listed schools as banned schools, like a regular specialist wizard (except that you can't choose any two).
Benefit:
I'm not entirely sure about this. It could be something relatively small, in addition to the standard advantages a specialist wizard gets, or something bigger instead of said advantages.
Maybe Wrath wizards get to add their Cha as damage to all spells; Illusionists gain a bonus to their spell DCs if they catch the enemy unaware, and so on.
Also, since there were once 7 Virtues or Rule, it would be nice to be able to play a Mage of Virtue, similar to the Wizard of Sin (but maybe with different benefits)
Eager Striving:
Focused on making the best effort, and keeping others from destroying what you built up
Specialty: abjuration
Prohibited Schools: evocation and necromancy
Well Deserved Rest:
Focused on calling aid to continue your work even if you yourself rest
Specialty: conjuration
Prohibited Schools: evocation and illusion
Fertility:
Focused on furthering friendship and love between all beings to guarantee plentiful offspring
Specialty: enchantment
Prohibited Schools: necromancy and transmutation
Righteous Anger:
Focused on smiting those who wronged you or others.
Specialty: evocation
Prohibited Schools: abjuration and conjuration
Honest Pride:
Focused on improving appearances to highlight your advantages
Specialty: illusion
Prohibited Schools: transmutation and conjuration
Abundance:
Focused on manipulating the physical body, the better to keep providing your labour for the good of all
Specialty: necromancy
Prohibited Schools: enchantment and abjuration
Wealth:
Focused on transforming things into objects of greater value to fight powerty and hunger.
Specialty: transmutation
Prohibited Schools: enchantment and illusion
(Yes, some of those sure need some work)

They have the Seven Virtues as Domains in one of the recent Dragon magazines.
True, but what he's talking about is the Seven Virtues that were taken to excess and changed into the Seven Sins. Which isn't the same thing as the classical seven virtues, which are generally seen as the opposites of the sins.
Which brings up an interesting thought - take the seven 'opposing' virtues, and extend them to the same level of excess and see what sort of sins you come up with. Hmm...

A full PrC for each sin (and by extension, each virtue as well...)?
Thats fourteen PrCs that really don't need to exist. It smacks of the WotC "make it to fill pages" theory of game design.
ONE PrC with rules to customize for each sin/virtue, sure.
Besides, if you want to, the various Thrall of XX in Vile Darkness can likely fill the need. They're all focused on one particular kind of nastiness or another.
But thats just my opinion. I hope Paizo fights feat/PrC bloat with everything they're worth and only give us what can't be garnered elsewhere.
Edit kuz I kin speel.
