Are the transition options exclusive to one another?

Is it possible to combine any of the transition options?
I'm interested by the Back Issues option which entitles me to 9 back issues. Can I select only 5 (the 5 recent issues which got "lost" in the mail when I recently moved...) and get credit for the 4 remaining issues on another transition option such as the Pathfinder subscription?

Sorry—that level of complexity would make our programmer's head explode, as well as some of our customers, I suspect. You need to choose only one.
