Request for specific contributor's work

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

No .. I'm not requesting N. Logue or R. Pett to be included in Pathfinder (I know that they're already in like flynn, or else I would be requesting).

But with everything going on the past few days I had comepletely forgotten about the latest issue of Dungeon I got wednesday afternoon. So i picked it (#146) up off the couch earlier today and started reading through the low levle adventure, I thought to myself 'this is really good'. I checked the author and then a flag went up in my mind. I went to my gaming bookself and pulled out Dungeon 137 and checked some of the by lines.

Geeze, I tend to ramble, sorry. To make a long story short, I would hope that you would include Tim and Eileen Conners as a part of your list of potential regular contributers. Both escape from meenlock prison and siege of the spider eaters are fantastic starting adventures.

Of course, all this is subject to them actually submitting stuff for pathfinder, but I hope Paizo realizes that they've got another name that can be added to that long list of people quality work is garunteed from.

We are blessed in that our list of capable contributors is deeper than probably anyone's in the industry. We hope to work with as many as we can on Pathfinder and (especially) in the GameMastery Module line, which will offer lots of chances for publication. I'm also considering an annual collection of short adventures written explicitly _not_ by authors used for the Modules or Pathfinder, but that idea is still on the drawing board.

There are likely more than a hundred adventure queries in the Black Hole (a name with new poignancy), and several manuscripts in the Dungeon production pike that now leads nowhere. Will you consider any of these for your GameMastery Modules line? If not, will there be a chance to propose new adventures for that line?

I like the idea of an annual collection of short adventures set in the same world of Varisia but not related to any specific adventure path, already Varisia sounds quite interesting to explore.

Sparking off that concept there's another idea that might be good, maybe an annual devoted towards using a specific OGL sourcebook in Varisia - for instance I'm a fan of Keith Baker and the "Crime and Punishment" book he did for Atlas' PEnumbra D20 line. A special issue or product geared for using a specific book in the Pathfinder game world would be cool. Just a thought.

More on topic I hope you'll get Keith Baker to do some work for Pathfinder.

We've been in email contact with Keith and he knows that we'd love to have him write some stuff for us. :)

MIKE! What are you still doing up? You could have gone to see KHAAAAAAN with them other Paizos!

I had to work. :( I didn't get to see any big-screen Shatners either. You need to play THE WEB PAGE (you know the one!) for us on Monday.

Ok. I'm done threadjacking.
