Kiss the online supplements goodbye?

Dungeon Magazine General Discussion

Liberty's Edge

With the dire news that Paizo will no longer be at the helm of Dungeon magazine, is it pretty much a pipe dream to expect online supplements of all the future magazines? I hope not.

I am glad to see that you are combining the softcover release of Pathfinder with a free .pdf duplicate. This is what I've been asking for some time. While I truly like to have the magazine to hold and peruse whenever and wherever the want strikes, I've found having a .pdf version is great for editing and mapping out a campaign in advance.

That said, I'll ask this once more.

Given the end of Dragon and Dungeon, I have 12 issues combined that will not be received. As such, I opted to trade in those outstanding issues for 4 Pathfinders. I understand Month-to-Month subscribers getr special bonuses for being Month-to-Month. Am I treated as Month-to-Month for these four consecutive months, or do I need to actually subscribe month-to-month in addition to this transition? If so, that seems odd, because I'm already committed for four months and if you want a month-to-month subscription, I can easily say "Fine," get my bonuses and then at the end of month 4 discontinue ... assuming that is what I decide to do.

So, for my 4 transition issues - month-to-month or not?

I'm interested to know this as well.

Transitioning your issues makes you a subscriber, and gets you the free PDF editions.

To be a Charter Subscriber, and get a free printed copy of the Player's Guide to Rise of the Runelords, you must actually purchase an ongoing month-to-month subscription.

However, PDF versions of the Player's Guide will be available for free to everyone.
