Rowyn Kellani...Back from the dead and better then ever...if you call being reincarnated into a KOBOLD "better"...
Oh, and then there's the matter of the festering demon inside her...
So, in SWW, Kellani was discovered and killed. It was less then pretty.
But then the group did something I wasn't quite expecting. They took her to the shrine of Herionious to do three things:
1) Get a PC that had been killed by Kellani REINCARNATED. (He's a lizardfolk now)
2) Get Kellani a proper burial, more to keep anykind of undead possibilities then anything else. (One of the PCs is actually a Paladin of Heironious, he was not able to discern the fake shrine.)
3) Escort the Father there as a thank you for him healing a few of them, plus one of them is a paladin of heironious, remember.
So, the "Priests" at the Shrine greet the Father as expected. To their surprise the Paladin is going to stay at the temple (they won't touch him, as they know a Paladin is likely immune to "evil seeds").
They jump at the chance to help the group with the reincarnation (they also jump at the chance of implanting a seed into the reincarnated PC).
They also jump at the chance to sow more CHAOS by Reincarnating Kellani (she came back as a kobold!!!!) and maybe dropping a little extra seed into her!

So there's the potential of three Slaads turning up...
This is kind of awesome; whilst the party cleric/paladin may have a Cure Disease spell prepped the chance are that they won't have more than one and so will mean that they have to decide on whom they shall use it on. But that may also mean that they'll still have to deal with two Slaad's simultaneously, and one should be a challenge as it is.
If the party only have one or no Cure Disease spells available, you could chuck a couple of scrolls in (perhaps the Jade Ravens have one), and if you couple this with making Kellani's presence obvious (her vomiting and groaning should get her heard if she's still stowed away) it could then lead to the situation of the PCs deciding which two of the three victims they have to save. Though the PC and the Fake Father will probably be obvious choices, the Fake Father could reveal his previous wrong doings -a 'dying' confession- to make it slightly more moraally difficult for the PCs to decide.
You may also need to be prepared to deal with the repercussions of implanting three victims, namely that the PCs will want to go back to the Shrine and deal with the 'Priests' there. The Paladin should be especially clean to cleanse these heathens.

Thanks for the post!
Yeah, I most assuredly will have at least 1 scroll handy, via the Ravens. Also the Ravens have a druid in their group, so that's another potential aid in that regards.
I kinda do want a slaad encounter, as I think it's one of the more interesting ones in the adventure. But if the PCs can avoid it, I'm cool with that.
If the PCs want to turn around, I am cool with that, but then they'd have to abandon the Wyvern and Nixie and get back on their own...Avner (as a partner in the enterprise) simply won't let Lavinia "waste" time and money. Afterall, its about as much as they can do to get to Farshore as it is.
All said, I am ready to drop Savage Tides any time the players' characters want off the boat, if they choose a different direction to go in. ;)
The best part is that due to the PCs not wanting command of the boat, and how one of them acted towards Avner (he punched him twice, KO'ng him) Avner has now taken command of the Sea Wyvern due to his being a partner with Lavinia. So, when the group was in Blackwell, Avner managed to get the Governor to accept the group's help with dealing with the redcaps, without the group being able to say anything about it. Afterall, if they say "no" they look like asses to Lavinia and the Governor for not being "heroes".
So off went the PC to be heroes and when they got back, they find out Avner and the Sea Wyvern took off (Avner had previously persuaded Lavinia to get a head start)...so the group had to find a captain who would drop what he was doing and race after the Wyvern.
This allows me to put the Kobold Lavinia back in play, on the new boat. My plan is to have her play up the "kick the kobold" thing, to make the PCs try and feel sorry for her. That way they might be willing to "rescue her" and then she can get close to them. (The PCs took her stuff, including her family ring, which she would like to get back in addition to killing them.)
One side note I was going to throw in was that the PCs would see a fire started in the city as they left. About in the area of Heironious' shrine...Which would have been Rowyn's act for turning her into a Kobold. (Not knowing they had done much worse to her.)
