Is Dungeon interested in the price of a trap?

The guidelines don't mention a price and I don't want to submit something that is automatically rejected.

IIRC, the DMG has rules for pricing traps. If not, one of the Rogue accessories does.

Not really... attaching prices to traps kind of wreaks havoc on D&D economy. Suddenly, every trap in an adventure has the possibility of being treasure if you list a price, and then you have to account for that in the amount of treasure you hand out. It's the same reason D&D doesn't really support the concept of harvesting trophies or expensive body parts from monsters.

OK, thanks James, you've just saved me from another rejection.

It does mean that I've got to rewrite the article.....grmbl.....no interest for budget traps.....grmbl
