Arcane Spell Failure?

Both the Jester and Savant can cast arcane spells, but neither mentions arcane spell failure. Running on intuition, I'd say that both can cast just fine in light armor but suffer spell failure for a shield or heavier armor. Is there any official word on this?

There's an errata thread for the book here, but I don't remember if this particular issue is referenced. If not, please feel free to add it to the list and I'll get back to you over there. :)
