Next Dungeon Campaign

I just wanted to post this campaign idea and see what others thought. I really enjoyed the Dragon articles in issues 320 and 332 on dragon PCs. I hope they do an article on gem dragon PCs too. Anyway the campaign idea is do something like Council of Wyrms and let players play dragon PCs starting at 1st level and continuing to 20th. It would have been perfect for the year of the dragon, but better late than never.

Never happen. An AP has to be broad enough that almost everyone could at least see themselves playing it. Playing dragons is a real niche idea. Only a fraction of D&D groups have ever had a player do it or even wabt to.

Every once in a while we game with wacko stuff like that -- a one nighter between campaigns, usually.

It's fun to do once every few months but would be way too over the top for anything sustained.

Try it out in your own campaign and see if it works. If you and your players have a real blast, try writing up your favorite adventure as a submission to the magazine. Couldn't hurt to try, right?
