not following your own template in Dungeon #141

Dungeon Magazine General Discussion

Dark Archive

a small nitpick; most of the time in your monster stat blocks in issue #141 if there is an entry for DR there is no ";" separating it from the hp entry. This isn't what is shown in your Dungeon Writing Guidlines.
Examples on pages 40 (Sutolore), 57 (Desriya), 70 (Hunters in the Darkness).
just seems to be a small, common error in a great magazine

thanks

And anyone would really care because?

There should be a semicolon separating DR from hp. I think. It looks better to me, at least. If there's not one in the writer's guidelines, then that's an error. But in a job where errors can end up spelling the names of campaign settings wrong on the cover, putting the wrong price on the cover, or leaving out entire encounters or sidebars... I'm not gonna worry too much about a rogue comma. And anyone who uses commas between their hp and DR in their manuscript submissions shouldn't either.

Be. Polite. Errors appear all the time, and people point them out, and sometimes, the staff actually does care about their nature.

Or to be more existential, why would anyone care about anything? Indeed, what is the very nature of caring? If a treant falls in the woods, and nobody else is around, does it make a sound?

I don't know...a rogue comma sounds pretty dangerous. Much more dangerous than say, a rouge rogue, or a commoner comma.

But then neither can match the deadliness of a kama-wielding monk comma.
