I have seen the light! I recently have had my eyes opened to the fact that Threadjacking with Snarky comments is detrimental to the overall community forum so I am starting this thread so as to allieviate (i before e?) some of the off-topic comments that really have no place on the boards, but do have a degree of humor to them.
My thoughts are for people to post a link to the Post that they wish to comment on and then post their comments.

Quick lesson on posting links: {url=thread.in.question.com}LINK NAME{/url}
Replace the "{}" brackets with "[]" brackets for this to work.

I will post an example momentarily.

Blackbeard?
What are you talking about Heathy? I am confused by the new forum and your post.

I just figured they needed a miniature that didn't wear a skirt...like...oh...some peoples' avatars?

Liberty's Edge

Hey. I like it here.
They give me 3 hots and a cot and exercise 2 times a day.
Just the delousing was a little humiliating, but...wow I don't have to scratch my ears raw any more.
I need a fluffy rug, though. It's for hygeine.

I have a burning desire to threadjack this thread and make it be about puppies.

Don't do it, man. The heat's on right now.

(edit)nothing to read here. Move along, citizen.

Hey! It's not a skirt! It's a...well.......ummmm.... IT'S NOT A SKIRT!!! Come on someone what did the Romans wear that looks like a kilt/skirt.....not a sarong, right? You're just jealous because your legs are all backwards-kneed, furry, and louse-ridden. Not the best look for a kilt....robe-bottom.....FINE SKIRT!!!

FH (sorry I lead ye into the Monsters wrath)

Silver Crusade

The Roman soldiers didn't wear anything under those skirts when they were fighting in warm climates...

And before we get started, this is a toga I'm wearing.

The knee is actually forward. The foot is long, and the ball of the foot(or its equivalent on a canine) doesn't touch the ground. Dogs walk on their toes.

Oh, and no worries. Trouble-magnetism is part of what makes me so charming (near-deitic cha.). Plus I'm chaotic snarky.

This thread is quarantining snarky threadjackers from the rest of the community. I see what is going on here.

~innocent look~ Who, me? A snarky threadjacker? NEVER!!! ~slips out the door before a much deserved retribution comes my way~

So you're telling me to go jack my thread? And here I'd always thought you so angelic.

No. It's me and fakey's Fight Club.

Have you ever seen me and fakey at the same place?
Didn't think so. He's my "Tyler Durden." I'm really just a dorky clockpuncher in real life.
Now leave me alone, I'm gonna go punch myself. A lot.

*plots to threadjack the untitled thread*

Liberty's Edge

Fakey went to Hot Topic last night.
He bought a Hello Kitty lunchpail.

This is, like, a sellout of threadjacking underculture, sanitized and packaged for massmarketing. Laaawfuuuuul Eeeeviiiillll.

True CNs will be talking only on-topic stuff here.

Well, intead of being nice and sunny here in Savannah, GA, it is starting to drizzle. What is the weather like there?

Drizzle is not Dritz and Dritz is not ditz!

What are you trying to re-rail our trainwreck thread with a legitemate conversation?

Novel!
It's raining in Dallas, gonna freeze today, possibly snow.
Then be in the fifties tomorrow.
Oh, and fakey wears granny panties!

Ba-Da-Bing? Ba-Da-Bing?
Fakey, you are a clown here to amuse me. ;)

What? I guess your granny wants them back? "Oh, wear these Fakey, it makes me hot!". Just goes to show, never trust 80yr olds to keep it on the down-low.

Hey Heathy.......Do ya think it is still watching us? Why don't you go see? I will guard your escape route back to here. If it gets you, don't worry I will sell off some old posts to fund your reincarnation (hopefully as a cat or something).

I'm ascairt.
This is cool, though.
We're like the really bad kids, who have to sit in the front of the bus for watchin's.
I'm finally a somebody.

Steady drizzle here in Hamilton Ontario. Its been crap weather most of the week actually.

Amatures. I'll show you how to threadjack:

Has anyone ever noticed that munchkins like Eberron more than any other setting? Do you think it's because they're less mature or not as smart as other gamers?

In an unrelated jack, I want to work for Dungeon customer's service. Check out this review of the Savage Tide Player's Guide:

Some Random Whiner wrote:

If you were up front and told us it would be out as a free download, I and others would have not shelled out $10+ to buy it.
What a cheap trick.
I will NOT buy anythig from you (except magazine subscriptions)as you have proven to me that you are less then honest!
I realize it is a paper copy but at the time I ordered it was only available in that form ( I am fine with a PDF ) so quality/price of the paper product is not in question only not having and option until after the peper version was purchased.

A cheap price for those wanting a hard copy

Dear Whiner,

We told people a half dozen times that we would be releasing the player's guide as a free pdf even before we started offering it for sale. We even sent somebody by your house to tell you in person, but you just mumbled some paranoid crap about how it was a trick by the CIA. In the future, I recommend actually having the facts correct before you post something maginificant in both its stupidity and inaccuracy.

Yours Truly,

Al Gore saw my threadjacking and said, "I...never imagined....this, when I invented...O My God, what have I done?"

Ooooohhh! Threadjacking the threadjacking thread! What fun! Here, let me try....

So I was thinking. We have a website for posting NPCs, generators, and other DM resources. We have another site where we are creating an entire world (at least we were). Maybe we should expand one or both websites to include adventures we've written and would like to share. I know some people send adventures they've done to Dungeon in hopes of getting published, but I don't plan on doing that. Which means that I'd be willing to contribute something.

Of course, since I have no clue how to set something like that up, it would be up to someone else to do it for everyone.

Ah yes, the big advantage to being undead - you can't have you're life threatened by a soon-to-be-one-armed bad guy with a half melted face while trying to enjoy a quiet drink in one of the most wretched hives of scum and villiany.

This thread is a thing of beauty.

I like pancakes.

Liberty's Edge

uh oh....shhhhhh!
Ah, yes, fakey. That's an excellent recipe tip. Uh...spaghetti sauce ON noodles...I'll try that tonight..
He's gone? Okay (phew)

Yeah, like, me and Heathy are true threats to society. Our threadjacking has gotten us on the "most wanted" list. You don't know what forces you mess with! It's like pouring water on a fire elemental! Dangerous Man!

Hah-hah-haaaaah! Your undeady powers are growing, 'zombie, and have peered into that What Is.

I like nachos. I like nachos with a big heaping side of guacamole and sour cream and salsa that's hot enough to sear your sinuses and wash it all down with a frothy pint o' beer.

This looks like the perfect place to bring up a subject I've always wanted to talk about... do you realize we all meet here on a D&D website? Think about that for a second.

Now relax... relax and think about it some more... isn't this world so small and intimate... feel your breathing growing louder... and stronger... and slower... until it is a breeze rushing past you... feel your lids getting oh... so... heavy...

When I count to three you will awake feeling refreshed and every time I post you'll beg me for my bank account info so you can wire me ten dollars.

One. Two. Three.

You know, I've never really been a fan of combining alcohol with spicy foods. It does all kinds of horrible things to my insides. Nobody even wants to get near me after that mess.

Well... nobody wants to get near me anyway. Hmm....

I think that may have more to do with your combination of horns and glasses. Getting ramhorned in the open eyeball because your friend is nearsighted is far worse than enduring a Chi-Chi's sirocco.
