Like many people, I purchased Stormwrack for the Savage Tide, and I'm just curious as to how others with Stormwrack will incorporate its elements into their campaign.
Besides using the better rules for combat, I had the idea to have Lavinia give each PC a 100 gp "gift certificate" to a little-known smith specializing in aquatic armor before "The Sea Wyvern's Wake", which would allow me to introduce the new items.
I would love any other suggestions!

Here's what I've used/modified so far:
I'm using the Defense Bonus and Armor as Damage Reduction variant rules, so my party has sadly shied away from armor use - I doubt the aquatic armors will be seen much. I like your idea of having the specialized smith in town though - great way to expose the PCs to it!!
On the weapon front, I made a DM call on the harpoon and decided to make it a martial weapon for STAP instead of exotic (there's a whaling industry here - harpoons would be commonplace IMHO) - but with a twist:
Martial proficiency gives you basic usage of the weapon as written, but if you take exotic weapon proficiency in it as well, I've ruled that the wielder can make an opposed STR check with a foe to pull the harpoon back out (as long as it has rope attached to it) and do damage again as it tears flesh and sinew.
I've made use of the amphibious template in Stormwrack twice now (using it on one of the players who wanted to run an aquatic elf, and made an amphibious version of the crested felldrake to go along with said elf PC's settlement). I haven't had any takers on the various prestige classes though, but I may 'spice up' some of the NPCs with them :)
I'm trying to push the new spells whenever possible, though my players have complained about not being in the right places to use them yet. (I've also grabbed James Jacob's "Far Corners" articles for more neat spells and magic items - shameless plug I know, but they're worth checking out on the WOTC website).
Once I start running SWW, I will start playing with the ship combat rules, though I will be making sure to keep it more 'cinematic' for speed of play.
Like others have said before, Stormwrack is loaded with goodies to add flavor to this AP - definitely a good investment!
Sorry for the rambling - hope the info helps :)
