A couple of questions on "There is No Honour" (Mild Spoilers)

Savage Tide Adventure Path

The party I'm DM are approaching halfway through the first module and a couple of questions have come to mind.

1. What was the nature of the argument between Vanthus and Panchi, owener of It Still Floats!?
2. For one reason or another, Shefton Rosk has survived Parrot Island. How much info should he have relating to the Lotus Dragons?

I think the answer to 1 is left to you, although I thought the argument he had was with Penkus, who was known for his temper...

As far as the second, not much, as he was a petitioner who had not fully joined the Lotus Dragons- duping the party was to be his ticket to membership, at least thats what I got out of it.

My players' characters rowed him back to Shadowshore after he pointed out the entrance, since they didn't trust him to wait at the top. (They were half right.) I think Vanthus is going to find him while the PCs are stuck under Parrot Island. After they escape, when they track him down to "repay" him for his "help", they'll find that Vanthus beat them to the punch, or the dagger in the heart as the case may be. (He knows little, but that's too much for Vanthus's taste, and Shefton dead in a Shadowshore alley won't attract too much notice.)

This is indeed left for you to decide upon. In my campaign, Vanthus basically stole a boat from Panchi and threatened to come back and chum the bay with Panchi guts if he reported the crime. By refering to the threat as an argument, Panchi's trying to downplay the scene so he doesn't get tricked into revealing what really happened, because Panchi likes his inside ropes on the inside where they belong, and not out in the water attracting hungry barracudas and sharks.

Shefton knows nothing about the Lotus Dragons aside from the fact that they're thieves like he wants to be. He'd never get into the guild though, since he's already wasted a level on an NPC class, If I Remember Correctly. In any event, if Shefton survives, he probably won't stay alive for long since I imagine he'd make some other similarly foolish decision soon enough that would hamper his continued well-being.
