Keeping my options open, as I am already running an entirely different game at the moment, but a few of my regular players expressed an interest in revisting the first Adventure Path. (Had attempted this one before, but some players spoiled it for me, having either read some of the adventures or played through one or more chapters.) Anyway, I see a thread or a post about where it (Cauldron/Shackled City) "fits" in the Realms, but what about the "new" kid... Eberron? Where would it be most likely to place Cauldron and the surrounding environs on Khorvaire? I was thinking Q'Barra perhaps (something of a frontier nation) but that's too "new." And I gather that Cauldron's been around. (Of course that can always be re-written.) Possibly Droaam (just outside of the Daughters of Sora Kell's influence and reach), or even Xen'Drik largely unexplored and truely a frontier continent. Thoughts? Suggestions? Thank you.
PS: a secondary thought of mine concerning this adventure path and the other (two) so far, is to "link" them in a way. And maybe link isn't the right word. Something like the heroes that play through Age of Worms might say, "Hey, didn't those Champions of Cauldron have to deal with a cult named the Ebon Triad?" (Or something like that.) The new heroes would have heard of the prior heroes exploits. (And perhaps had been NPC cohorts/followers before "breaking away.")

Well, I've decided (upon consideration) that I will place Cauldron in the frontier nation of Q'Barra, resting along the Endworld Mountains, northwest of Newthrone. (I have a feeling this'll keep it close enough to my guess as to where the Savage Tide shall occur, at least at the beginning anyway.) Heck, maybe for the Eberron-Savage Tide instead of "adding" a new city named Sasserine, we'll be encouraged to use the existing city of Newthrone. So... thanks to all of you who perhaps thought about giving me your feedback/suggestions, but just hadn't gotten around to it yet.
