Unfortunately, I was let down again when I checked my mail when I got home. Better luck tomorrow. :(
Yeah. I'm in high school, so I get home later than the mail (which usually comes at 3 friggin' 30 in the afternoon). I always go tearing through the mail to find my issues of Dragon if they seem to be due soon.
And 348 certainly is due soon.

I'm really looking forward to the Class Acts article detailing the new marshall aura's. I've really liked the class since my old DM told us to stat up a character at 2nd level for a FR campaign that never got off the ground. I really enjoyed my +16 Diplomacy modifier at 2nd level! In any case, I see a lot of potential in the class, a belief re-inforced by the inspired use of the class for the yuan-ti cult leader statted out in Monster Manual IV.

yep, got it yesterday, read the OoTS today (like to save that for last)
overall: quite good.
ecology of the wight, core beliefs: Vecna (YES!), and savage tidings are all top-notch.
also: dwarven ninja, wildshape cheat sheet, and some nifty new vampiric critters?
they even got some new Eberron content in there.
but Core Beliefs remains my personal favorite article, and this one has me planning a cleric of Vecna/Wizard/Mystic Theurge in the future (hmmm...a cleric of knowledge and magic, who's LE, and casts both arcane AND divine spells? yeah, i'm in for that!)

I received mine on Saturday the 16th in Kansas City, MO. I haven't read all of it yet but here's my take on what I have read:
F. Wesley Schneider's guest editorial and the New Releases page have me wanting to purchase "Expedition to Ravenloft." Prior to reading those I was on the fence. The clincher was that I'll be able to use my Three Dragon Ante deck as the fortune telling device and the designers have a suggested path to follow if you want to run it as a one-night Halloween adventure!
Core Beliefs: Vecna is awesome! It upholds the high standard I've come to expect from the Core Beliefs articles. It has added value because my Age of Worms campaign group is about to reach the Labyrinth of Vecna in "The Three Faces of Evil."
Ecology of the Wight is good. I always appreciate the "Real History of..." section in the Ecology articles. I like how Graeme Davis pays tribute to that history with his lairs section and allows for variations as well.
Spellcraft: The Tome of Strahd is a nice flavorful addition to the Spellcraft library.
Class Acts: This section is always helpful but even moreso for me as I'm playing a Druid in a "Red Hand of Doom" mini-campaign. The Wild Shape Guide in the Divine section is a great resource.
Zogonia and Order of the Stick have particularly funny insights into the "reality" of some D&D game sessions.
The Cover: An amazing rendition of the Maimed Lord!
I'm looking forward to reading the "Bestowed Curses", "Bloodlines: Three Variant Vampires" next, as well as "Horrors of the Daelkyr" to see what I can export to Greyhawk.
The Halloween issues are always among my favorite of the year and this one does not disappoint. Thanks Paizo. Happy Halloween everyone!

I'm glad you liked it. It was a fun article to put together, and Mike did an amazing job of making all that information actually fit and look good at the same time!
And writing the wild shape errata sidebar served as a good way to force me to learn the new rules. :D

I like the Daelkyr article. Fearsome, disgusting monsters are the kind of thing that work well in any setting, not just Eberron. All the advantages of an Eberron article with none of the calories!
Thanks. I'm of the opinion that a good monster article is truly setting neutral, so I'm glad that that philosophy paid off.
Now, let's see if my other submissions in the same vein get through...
