Caverns of the Ooze Lord, Part 2, Encounter 1

This is a question about "Caverns of the Ooze Lord" in Dungeon #132. Specifically, the goblin encounter on page 49. I'm having a hard time understanding how this encounter is supposed to play out. Are the goblins clinging to the outside of the cliff face? Or are they hiding in little rooms behind the cliff wall? Or are they attacking from the doorway where the "1" is on the map? Where are the sleeping goblins hiding? If anyone has this issue, please crack it open and see if you can clear it up for me.

The goblins are hiding out in nooks and crannies along the cliff face. If you're running the encounter with a battlemat, just place the goblins here and there along the face of the cliff itself once they attack, probably on ledges anywhere between 10 and 30 feet high.
