A Defiant (PH) in the AWAP

Age of Worms Adventure Path

Greetings all. I was up last night, thinking of different character concept's that could be used for the various games I'm in (with the DM's I have a TPK is always a possibility), and I came across a prestige class in the Planar Handbook called the Defiant. The best way I can describe it for those who don't have the book is Militant Atheist. They are people who are so sure that that there are no gods that they become virtually immune to any and all Divine Magic.

I thought about how one could start off as a cleric, go for X number of levels and then loose the faith. The anti-divine aspect of their abilities I would think should be beneficial in the fight at the end of Dawn of a New Age.

Any thoughts anyone?

It sounds like you already know how the AoW ends. Have you read the campaign and now you want to make a PC designed specifically to beat it or something? That sounds kinda cheesy to me. Why bother?

Of course I know how it ends. I'm DMing two different groups through it.
