I'm looking at runnning the AoW in FR and are wondering how to incorporate it. I've downloaded the conversion notes from here and they were vague on Kyuss who isn't a FR deity. FR is slightly different than Greyhawk when it comes to gods.
1. If you die and don't worship a god you can't be raised after 1d10 days.
2. As a general rule in FR mortals can't kill Gods which Kyuss is. Mortals have killed gods before but usually with the aid of another power.
3. I'm happy to just add Kyuss to the pantheon but need to tweak his history. I would probably make him Netherise and have him achieve true godhood after the time of troubles. however his portfolio is close to several FR deities already.
I like the bit about the Ebon triad being onto something in FR- Bane, Bhaal and Myrkul and I might flesh out this subplot a bit more when I run it. Any ideas on incorporating the adventure path would be great.

The conversion notes assume that Kyuss is added to the pantheon. I was deliberately vague on which pantheon, but my suggestion is the Chultan or Faerunian pantheon, for as much as it matters. In either case, Kyuss is a very minor god who once was a mortal in the Chultan culture.

Not sure how this impacts the conversion.

Either let your PCs kill Kyuss as outlined in the final adventure (my assumption) or assume they are getting offstage help from 1 or more good gods.

Why do you need to tweak his history? Is this for campaign-specific issues or do you feel there is a problem in the conversion? Note that demipowers (including Kyuss) can overlap in portfolio with others gods in or out of their pantheon.

Not following here. There's a lot in the conversion notes. Are you looking for something else?
Sorry not to be more helpful,

The conversion notes said that in FR that the Ebon Triad is actually on to something and I might make the ET a bit more prominant in the adventure path. In Greyhawk Kyuss dates from around 2000 years ago while in FR this would put him int the Netheril time period or he could be form Calimshan. I suppose I wanted to know.
1. What ethnic group would Kyuss be as a mortal.
2. When did he become divine?
3. Could he be a minor left over nNtherise godling like Moander?
I'm using Faiths and Panthoeons, Lost Empires of Faerun and the 2nd ed Faiths and Avatars series for reference.
