With all the talk about Demogorgan, will we see St Kargoth the Betrayer and Demogorgon's Bilious Sphere?

**Bump**

It is likely that even Dungeon's staff doesn't know the answer to this question yet, or at least has not made a final decision they'd be willing to share. Remember various authors are working on the various adventures that make up the path. Of course, if they do know, I'd be curious to know the answer as well. But what is the Bilious Sphere?

It was mentioned in a Dragon at the turn of 2001 - 2002 in the Living Greyhawk Journal. In the words of Dragon it's an obscene parody of the Orb of Sol and is now carried by Kargoth the Death Knight.

Basically it's a major artefact. We saw the Hand of Vecna in the AoWAP so this may make an appearance in ST.

We're more than half a year away from the deadlines for the last adventures in the Savage Tide, and therefore it's impossible to say who (or what) will be appearing in the campiaign for sure.

This may be seen as heresey(sp?) but since Age of Worms had conversion notes online for Forgotten Realms AND Eberron, any chance that Savage Tide will have those features as well?

A homebrew campaign setting I did a few years back was on a mostly water-world (no not the Kevin Costner movie, this was better);) and my players would probably get into a more sea-faring/sea-going AP if things don't pan out in AoW.

The short answer is yes. They said so on another thread and, if you didn't like the Greyhawk thread you posted on yesterday, you'll really hate that one...

I don't believe you for one minute, Mr Jacobs. ;)

Actually, it's true.

Take Age of Worms as an example. We knew from the start a few of the NPCs and plot points that the PCs would face in the last few adventures, but just as many important and key characters didn't manifest until they showed up in the written adventure, over a year after the plotline had been designed. And in a few cases, important characters didn't appear until the development stage, AFTER the author was done with the design work.

The same went for Shackeld City, so I have no doubt that we'll see some surprise cameos or what not in the end of Savage Tide that, at this point, I can't predict.

Savage Tide will indeed have conversion notes, but since the adventure itself takes place in uncharted waters, I expect the conversion notes to be much lighter than those we ran for Age of Worms.

I believe that all the discussion that has begun here on the board for this AP is proving how amazing the first two AP's have been and how much anticipation we as consumers (and players/ DM's) have for what we expect to surpass the previous offerings.
I am looking forward to this story arc, and considering running the path myself ... I took a 15 year hiatus from playing and have been "unlearning" the rules as I adapt from 1st edition to 3.5.
So please, Mr. Jacobs and Mr. Mona … keep them coming! And any more juicy tidbits you can drop right now would be awesome also.

I know what you mean, Orcwart. Before the AoW launched I had asked them if we would see any Worm That Walks templates or any of the Rod of Seven Parts in the campaing. Mr. Mona and Mr. Jacobs told me no on both accounts. Hmmmmm..............
